work sucked, i was late. paid for it the rest of the day by having to do menial tasks and take lunch when i wasn't hungry. ugh.
so i saw this american apparel ad awhile ago, showing how you could go from work to party in basically the same outfit, i thought it was ridiculous.
i just happened to wear all american apparel to work, yes i feel like a loser for it but hey it's comfortable and easy.
as the day wore on i started thinking about the night ahead and what surprises i might find in my wardrobe, then i thought why delve into my wardrobe?
ridiculous. but if you add a necklace, an oversized flower headband and some "bondage" (to use one of your favourite words) shoes it kinnnd of works.
i'm going out with helen to ingrid's birthday drinks then more than likely heading out to the beat, even though just being able to hear the weather is enough to turn me off the whole idea. is it too late to curl up in bed with a martini and an awful mtv marathon?

i agree that the 'work to party' theme is stupid - it's just like stripping off to yr undies (more or less) shoving your work shirt in yr handbag and going to the pub. OR you could go home have shower, put some make up on, choose something nice to wear and go out looking good instead being a smelly skank all yr life.

i didn't make it to the beat. i had an incredibly early (and free) night. helen picked me up and took me to her house, helen's housemate drove us to the valley and her other housemate drove us home. it was great. but yes i was incredibly hungry, i even walked passst mcdonalds(!) and had some vegetable stirfry when i got home.
"smelly skank" gosh ma, what are they teaching you over there? oh and the bi-coloured tights are coooool.
i know this is ridic late but i really like the AA outfit! the one you're wearing that is. simple yet stylish.
